Blow Poke

A handmade tool that functions as both a bellow to ignite flames and an iron to shift logs. The rod and hook are forged steel. The handle is reclaimed cherry. The creative process involves stamping, cutting and welding the hook and rod before layering with premium coating and paint. The cherry was sized and cut before being turned on a lathe to optimal shape and smoothness.

To customize: Handles can be made using wood from felled trees to mark a meaningful place or reclaimed from a home. Fine-point iron branding is available, as with initials, dates, etc., to mark a special occasion. An ideal birthday or holiday gift; housewarming gift for friends; groomsmen or wedding gift; and/or Father’s Day present.

For use at a hearth, campfire or firepit. Protected storage recommended.
