Butcher Block

A culinary essential crafted from unfinished black walnut set on feet to release moisture. Using a jointer and planer preps the wood and allows the natural patterns of the grain to reveal themselves and determine design. This block features a subtle stagger between 3” and 1.5” pieces of walnut with a 1.75” thickness. Coat occasionally with mineral oil to seal and shine.
